What is the Competition Team?

Charmille Dance Collective’s Competition Team is a vibrant, passionate group of dancers who represent our school at regional and national competitions across the UK. We focus on performance excellence, technical strength, and creativity — nurturing dancers who love a challenge and thrive in a team environment.

Our team performs in a wide variety of styles including:

Ballet
Modern Jazz
Contemporary
Tap
Musical Theatre

Weekly rehearsals include group routines, technique drills, and occasional masterclasses with guest teachers to refine skills and build stage presence.

Who Can Join?

The team is open to dedicated students who are eager to train, perform, and grow. Entry is by invitation or audition, and dancers are expected to:

Maintain strong attendance
Commit to rehearsals and competitions
Demonstrate a positive attitude and teamwork
